Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on July 8, 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager reported that the Village has 2 vacancies in the Police
Department, 2 in the Fire Department and 1 in Public Works. He noted that
the Village's expenditures have been exceeding revenues during the
economic downturn and a recovery is not expected in the coming months.
The Board requested the Manager to prepare a report on any potential
impact on services or response times if the vacancies were not filled.
