Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 14 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager reported that the Community Service Coordinator has resigned, and
noted that the Board had discussed reengineering the position during the recruitment
process several years ago.
The Village Manager summarized his suggestion to consolidate Health Services and
Community Services into one department, and promote the Health Coordinator to a new
position classification of Health & Community Services Director.
The Village Manager explained that the Community Services Coordinator position would
change to an "Assistant to" position under the new Director.
The Board discussed the need for input from the Community Service Board and Board of
Health prior to considering the consolidation. The consensus of the Board was to direct
the Village Manager to contact the presidents of the two boards for input, and to report
back to the Village Board.
The meeting adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
