Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 142002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Mayor reported that he and the Village Attorney met with the owners of Heavenly
Bodies to discuss ongoing concerns with the business. As a result of the meeting, the
owners agreed to pull their radio ads until they can create a new one that does not
mention Elk Grove; they will enhance their landscaping,review security and patron
issues with the Police Department.
The Mayor stated that since the owners will cooperate in addressing Village concerns,
forced acquisition of surrounding property and annexation of same is not warranted.
The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
