Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 23,2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Mayor reported that the Elk Grove Park District has decided to turn Channel 6
operations over to the Village, including$241,000 in reserve funds for Channel 6 and all
equipment. The Park District will retain ownership and management until later this year.
Staff will work with Elk Grove High School to make plans for relocating Channel 6. The
Mayor noted that the Board will need to discuss how Channel 6 will be managed later
this year.
The Mayor reported the Park District `s expressed concerns about continuing to cablecast
their Board meetings, and the fact that the Village will make every effort to continue
programming their activities.
