Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 26, 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
Mayor Johnson advised the Village Board that the Village has an opportunity to acquire
remaining undeveloped properties. The consensus of the Village Board was for staff to
examine available properties and prepare cost estimates to acquire various large tracts of
vacant property in or near Elk Grove Village. Those properties may include the Lutheran
Church of the Holy Spirit property; Bertholds; Devon/Salt Creek properties, etc.
