Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 12. 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Board discussed the Health Insurance report from the Human Resources
Officer, as well as the recommendation from the Personnel Committee, to pursue a plan
change to Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Changing to BC/BS would reduce costs, improve the
claims process, and the PPO network.
After discussion of various program options, the consensus of the Board was to proceed
with the plan change as recommended. The Human Resources Officer will begin
discussing the proposed change with union representatives on Thursday, March 14. The
Village Manager will notify the Park District and Library administrations of this intent.
