PROCHNO Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on February 12, 2002 this Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter. Number of pages attached: I Date(s) of review for release: December 2002 Date of approval for release: A/1 ��_if5l� 2/12/02 6:40 p.m. Land Acquisition The Mayor introduced representatives of Corrib Construction to discuss proposed concepts for the redevelopment of the Rohlwing Grove shopping center at Rohlwing & Devon. The plan includes the construction of a 4-story, 102 room Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel at the western half of the site. The 69,000 sq. ft. building will have a residential appearance, and could be constructed in all brick if so desired. A 10,000 sq. ft. restaurant would be located on the west side of the hotel. The eastern 3-acres of the site would include retail shopping and upscale restaurants. The specific tenants would be named later, but include nationally recognized establishments. The estimated tax revenues total $600,000 in annual sales taxes and $140,000 in hotel/motel tax revenues. After discussion, the unanimous consensus of the Board was to authorize staff to begin negotiating a redevelopment agreement. The meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
