PARK DISTRICT LAND DONATION REQUEST
The Village President reported that the Park District
requested that the Village revert the ownership of a
2-acre parcel located on Rohlwing Road back to the Park
District for the purpose of constructing an equipment
storage facility.
The consensus of the Board was to defer any decision
on the land transfer until the development plans for the
Zirko property are presented and a determination is made
as to the 2 acres being needed for a detention/retention
site.
PERSONAL RAPID TRANSIT (PRT) SYSTEM APPLICATION
The consensus of the Board was not to pursue the
development of an independent application. However, staff
is to contact Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates to ascertain
whether they would be willing to join with Elk Grove for
the development of a long term PRT plan.
POLICE SERGEANT POSITION AND TRAINING
The consensus of the Board was to authorize the
addition of one sergeant 's position to the Police
Department 's authorized strength. In addition, the
consensus of the Board was to authorize the officer who
will fill that position to attend the Northwestern
University's Traffic Institute program beginning January
21 , 1991.
BASSETT TRAINING PROGRAM ENFORCEMENT
The Village Manager reported that of the 26 liquor
license holders in the Village, 14 are in full compliance
with the training program ordinance, six are in partial
compliance, and six are in non-compliance with the
ordinance.
The consensus of the Committee was that the six
license holders in non-compliance be brought before the
Liquor Commission of the Village. In addition, staff is
to contact the six license holders that are in partial
compliance and ascertain when they will be in full
compliance with the liquor training requirements. Staff
is to report that information back to the Board.

The consensus of the Board was to review the
newsletter and discuss the mailing at a later date.
The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m.
