JOINT IML/EGV Property Tax Newsletter
The consensus of the Committee was not to distribute
the newsletter. Staff, however, is to prepare an article
on property taxes for the next newsletter.
PERSONAL RAPID TRANSIT (PRT) SYSTEM APPLICATION
The Village Manager reported that staff has discussed
the development of a long-term PRT plan with Schaumburg
and Hoffman Estates.
ROHLWING ROAD PROPERTY
The Village Manager reported that the Director of
Public Works is preparing a report detailing the possible
use of the property for a tree nursery and/or elevated
water storage tank.
CONFERENCE TRANSPORTATION UNIT (CTU)
The Village Manager reported that the NWMC has
created the CTU as a substitute for NORTRAN. The
participation fee for the CTU would be about 50% of the
fee charged by NORTRAN. The concensus of the Committee
was to discuss participation in the CTU at a future
meeting.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Tosto moved and Trustee Czarnik seconded a
motion to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of
discussing personnel.
Upon voting, all AYES. The Committee entered into
Executive Session at 7:40 p.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:35 p.m.
