Chernick, Village Trustee N. Czarnik, Village Trustee D. Gallitano, Village Trustee J. Petri , Village Trustee M. Tosto, Village Trustee ABSENT: NONE STAFF PRESENT: C. Willis, Village Manager G. Parrin, Assistant Village Manager R. Rummel, Administrative Assistant G. Knickerbocker, Village Attorney (7:35) EXECUTIVE SESSION Trustee Czarnik moved and Trustee Tosto seconded a motion to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the release of Executive Session minutes. Upon voting, all ayes. The meeting entered Executive Session at 7 p.m. and came out of Executive Session at 7:01 p.m. PETITION FROM RESIDENTS OF SHENANDOAH SUBDIVISION President Zettek reported that he received a petition signed by the residents of Shenandoah Subdivision requesting more sound-proofing along the proposed Elgin-O 'Hare Highway. MARCH 19 COW MEETING The consensus of the Committee was to reschedule the March 19 COW meeting to March 18. FY 91-92 BUDGET MEETING The consensus of the Committee was to meet on Monday, March 25 at 6 p.m. and again on March 27 , if necessary. In addition, the Board of Health is to be the first item on the March 25 agenda. JOURNAL & TOPICS NEWSPAPER The consensus of the Committee was to place an advertisement in the Journal and Topics newspaper at a cost of $705. MORTGAGE BOND PROGRAM The consensus of the Committee was to participate in the mortgage bond program. CONFERENCE TRANSPORTATION UNIT President Zettek reported that Trustee Tosto has been appointed to the CTU's Technical Committee. NON-GOVERNMENTAL USERS OF FIRE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING The consensus of the Committee was to notify those requesting space that the Village will not be evaluating their requests until mid-summer. PARK AND SHOP REZONING REQUEST The consensus of the Board was to meet with the petitioner to discuss the matter before a future Board meeting. SISTER CITY President Zettek noted that a community in Sicily has asked Elk Grove to become their Sister City. The Board will address the issue at a later date. COMMERCIAL PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL-ZONED DISTRICTS The Chairman of the JPZ Committee reported that there is no consensus among the JPZ Committee on this subject. The Board will discuss this item at the March 18 COW meeting. VILLAGE FLAGS The consensus of the Committee was to purchase a two-color flag. The flag is to have the Village logo in green on a white background.
