LIQUOR LICENSE FEE WAIVER FOR PARK DISTRICT
The consensus of the Committee was to waive the liquor
license fee for the Park District 's Carousel Room.
ELECTRONIC MESSAGE BOARD POLICY
The consensus of the Committee was to not allow for profit
businesses and commercial enterprises to advertise on the sign.
OUTSIDE USERS OF FIRE ADMINISTRATION HEADQUARTERS
The consensus was for the Manager to notify potential users
of the vacant space at Fire Headquarters of the costs involved in
occupying the facility, if considerable changes to the structure
are required due to the proposed use.
BOARD OF HEALTH MEMBERSHIP
The consensus of the Committee was to allow David Dopp to
continue serving on the Board of Health although Dopp no longer
resides in the Village.
ENFORCEABILITY OF PARKWAY DAMAGE ORDINANCE
The Village Attorney stated that he cannot predict the
enforceability of the ordinance, but recommended that the Board
adopt the ordinance. He will watch how the Court reacts to the
ordinance during prosecution.
The consensus of the Committee was to adopt the ordinance.
Staff will place the ordinance on the next Village Board agenda.
DUPAGE COUNTY
The President advised the Board of his conversation with Aldo
Botti, President of DuPage County, and the need to coordinate the
lower and upper Salt Creek flood control measures.
ANNUAL PARADE
The consensus of the Committee was for the Village to pursue
our sponsorship of an annual parade with local civic groups.
The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
