Petri, Village Trustee J. Bosslet, Village Trustee R. Chernick, Village Trustee M. Tosto, Village Trustee ABSENT: D. Gallitano, Village Trustee STAFF: C. Willis, Village Manager R. Rummel, Administrative Assistant G. Knickerbocker, Village Attorney PLANNING PARTNERSHIP SENIOR HOUSING PROPOSAL Alan Saunders and Pauli Keel informed the Village Board that they would like to purchase, annex, and develop a 4 .7 acre parcel on Nerge Road, east of Plum Grove Road as low income senior citizen housing. Their deadline for submitting a HUD application is August 12 . If they secure the property, the Village Board will be requested to adopt a resolution supporting the project. The consensus of the Committee was not to object to the concept of low income housing on the site. INTERCHANGE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE The Village Manager reported that the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be cutting the grass on Rohlwing Road. In addition, the grass on the Interchange slopes will not be cut for several months until the grass can establish a solid root system. J.U.L. I .E. MEMBERSHIP The consensus of the Committee was to wait for the NWMC' s report before deciding whether or not to join J.U.L. I .E. ATRIUM ELECTRONIC MESSAGE DISPLAY BOARD The Village Manager reported that Staff is obtaining quotations for an electronic message board in the Atrium. D.A.R.E. GRADUATION REPLACEMENT Trustee Joseph Bosslet will substitute for President Zettek during D.A.R.E. graduations when President Zettek is unable to appear at the event. BIESTERFIELD ROAD GUARDRAIL The Village Manager reported that the guardrail is being designed. The Village Manager will report back to the Village Board on the status of the project. BOULEVARD DITCH ENCLOSURE The Village Managi;r reported that plans are being prepared. The Village Manager will report back to the Village Board on the status of the project. DRAINAGE REPORT STATUS The Village Manager will report back to the Village Board on the status of the project. FOREST PRESERVE ENTRANCE AT OAKTON The Village President reported that Trustee Gallitano and Alan Boffice, Director, E/CD, met with the Cook County Board of Commissioners to discuss alternatives to an entrance at Oakton St. LOT AT NW INTERSECTION BIESTERFIELD & MEACRA14 The Village Presilent reported that the lot is to be cut and cleared of debris.
