BIESTERFIELD GUARDRAIL
The Village Manager noted that the engineering plans
are available for inspection in the Trustees ' Conference
Room and if there are no objections the guardrail will be
bid as designed.
COMMUNITY SERVICE BOARD VACANCY
The Village President reported that the Community
Service Board recommends appointing Kathy Harriett to fill
the vacancy.
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the
appointment at the forthcoming Village Board meeting.
CAPS AND VISORS WITH ELK GROVE LOGO
The consensus of the Committee was to purchase 350
hats, 150 visors, and an embroidery tape at a cost of
$2,426. 00.
FOREIGN FIRE INSURANCE TAX
The Village Manager reported that these funds are
being held in escrow until litigation surrounding the State
Law is resolved.
LINK SCHOOL TEMPORARY PARKING
The consensus of the Committee was to take action at
the forthcoming Village Board meeting to permit the parking
of 20 vehicles in a temporary gravel lot .
KARPS Parking Request
The consensus of the Committee was not to void the
five parking tickets as requested by Karps.
In addition, the consensus of the Committee was to
permit vehicles with KARPS stickers to park beyond the two
(2) hour limit on Estes until November 1 , 1991 .
SALE OF ELK GROVE DISTANCE CLASSIC ITEMS
The consensus of the Committee was not to object to
Community Service 's selling Elk Grove Distance Classic
items.
PARK DISTRICT FOUNTAIN PARK
The consensus of the Committee was for the Park
District to develop a solution to the parking problem prior
to the park 's opening next season.
1991 PROPERTY TAX LEVY
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss this
item at a future date.
KIWANIS PROPOSAL FOR PILIHOSKI PROPERTY
The consensus of the Committee was for Staff to
prepare a letter indicating what must be done by the
Kiwanis Club before the village will become involved in the
matter.
TAX DELINQUENT PROPERTIES
Staff is to examine the possible purchases of tax
delinquent property in the Village for resale, and report
back to the Village Board.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
