NORTHWEST TOLLWAY IMPROVEMENTS
Kenneth L. Desmaretz, Assistant Chief Engineer for the
Tollway Authority, presented plans to the Village Board for
improving the flow of traffic in the area of the tollway.
It was the consensus of the Village Board for Staff to
prepare a draft response to the concept plan for Village Board
review.
LIONS CLUB CANDY DAY DONATION
The consensus of the Village Board was not to donate any
funds .
TELECOMMUNICATIONS TAX
The consensus of the Committee was not to implement a
telecommunications tax.
REAR YARD DRAINAGE - 70 Forest Lane
The consensus of the Committee was for Staff to prepare
firm cost estimates for installing the rear yard storm sewer
system.
ELK GROVE YOUTH FOOTBALL PARADE
President Zettek noted that the parade will take place on
September 21 at 8 a.m. Trustee Bosslet will serve as a judge
in the parade .
SCHREINER SANITARY SEWER RECAPTURE PAYMENT
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendation of the Assistant Village Manager. In addition,
the interest rate to be charged will equal the prime rate plus
2 percent.
FOUNTAIN PARK
The consensus of the Committee was to request that the
Park District prepare a plan within 30 days to address the
parking situation.
VILLAGE HALL SPRINKLERS
The Assistant Village Manager reported that sprinklers for
the parkway surrounding Village Hall will be included in next
year' s budget.
CONTRACTORS ' USE OF VILLAGE HYDRANTS
The Village Manager reported that Public Works is
preparing a report which will be available shortly.
1991 TAX LEVY DETERMINATION
The consensus of the Committee was to keep the tax levy
rate increase at 58 or under, as outlined in a memo by the
Director of Finance.
The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m.
