sign.

The consensus of the Committee was to proceed with the
publication as submitted.
PARKING STANDARDS TEXT AMENDMENT
The Director of Engineering and Community Development
summarized the changes proposed in the Parking Standards Text
Amendment.
The Village Attorney is preparing an ordinance to adopt
the text amendment at the next Village Board meeting.
SISTER CITIES PROGRAM
The Village Clerk from the City of Des Plaines, the
President of the Illinois Sister Cities Association, and the
President of the Des Plaines Sister Cities Consortium gave a
presentation to the Village Board on the Sister Cities Program.
Should a community want to initiate a Sister City
relationship, the speakers suggest forming a not-for-profit
corporation, staffed by interested community members. A
three-person organizing committee would take about two years
to develop a functional program.
The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m.
