CAPITAL PROJECTS PRIORITIZATION
The consensus of the Committee was to proceed with
the issuance of $10 million in General Obligation Bonds to
fund al'. of the Capital projects submitted, including the
total reconstruction of the Elk Grove Boulevard ditch.
SEPTIC FIELD EXTENDING ONTO WAL-MART SITE
The consensus of the Committee was neither to permit
the unincorporated house on Home Avenue to connect into
the sanitary sewer system nor to annex the property to the
Village.
CHICAGO SKYLINE SIGN
Alan Boffice noted that the residents along Oakton
are being surveyed and that a report will be forthcoming.
HYDRANT USE POLICY
The consensus of the Village Board was to allow fire
hydrants usage as follows :
Charge contractors $40 for each water meter
connection made to a hydrant by Village personnel;
Charge twice the rate assessed to residential
customers for hydrant water; and
Allow contractors performing work required by the
Village to utilize hydrants .
The meeting was adjourned at 10 : 45 p.m.
