Vazzano, DAILY HERALD NEW FIRE STATION The consensus of the Committee was to discuss this item on February 10 at 7 p.m. WATER AND SEWER RATE INCREASE Staff is to prepare a report detailing the percentage increases needed over a 3-year period to provide the same amount of funds as the proposed 22% increase. This item will be discussed at the February 10 meeting. SWANCC SERVICE USE AGREEMENT The Assistant Village Manager noted that William Abolt (Director of SWANCC) will be meeting with the Board on February 18 to discuss the proposed service use agreement . The proposed agreement departs from present refuse collection practices in that all residential uses would be under franchise agreements and the village would undertake the billing and collection of funds. WAIVING OF FEES FOR OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES The consensus of the Committee was to not charge fees to other governmental agencies. In addition, staff is to prepare an ordinance granting the Village Manager the authority to waive fees for other governmental agencies. FEE SCHEDULE UPDATES The consensus of the Committee was to discuss business license fees, vehicle license fees, and building and engineering fees at the February 10 meeting. INDUSTRIAL PARKWAY CUT-OUTS The consensus of the Committee was to allow "grass pavers" to be installed in industrial parkways at locations where trucks drive onto the parkways. The installation of the pavers is the responsibility of the business owner and requires a permit from the Department of Engineering and Community Development .
