Bosslet made a motion to enter into an executive session
for the purpose of discussing personnel . Gallitano seconded
the motion. All present voted AYE. The executive session
began at 7 : 15 p.m.
The Committee of the Whole meeting reconvened at 8 : 15 p.m.
WATER & SEWER RATES
Consensus was to increase rates 108 effective May 1, 1992 ,
followed by 88 on May 1, 1993, and 68 on May 1, 1994 . The
total increase over the three-year period would be 59 cents
per 1, 000 gallons . There would be no increase to the sewer
rate.
ENGINEERING PERMIT FEES
Consensus was to increase by 18 the fees for inspectional
and plan review services for private property ( from 1 .58 to
2 . 58) and increase driveway apron fees from $10 to $25, as
recommended in the 2-5-92 memorandum from the Director of
Engineering & Community Development.

BUILDING PERMIT FEES
Consensus was to increase the fees as recommended by the
Director of Engineering & Community Development and contained
in his 2-5-92 memorandum.
*VEHICLE LICENSES
Consensus was to increase the fees as recommended by the
Director of Finance and contained in her 2-6-92 memorandum.
However, vehicle stickers and transfers for Senior Citizens
and handicapped persons would stay at 50 cents and be limited
to a maximum of two licenses.
PET LICENSES
Consensus was to increase the fees from $2.00 to $4 .00.
BUSINESS, LIQUOR, RESTAURANT LICENSES
Consensus was to increase the fees as recommended by the
Director of Finance in her 2-6-92 memorandum, with the
exception of movie theaters, which would be increased from
$100 to $150.
TOTAL RESOURCES MARKETING
The Village Manager is to advise Total Resources Marketing
that the Village is not interested in accommodating their
request for a bingo parlor.
FIRE STATION RELOCATION
The consensus of the Village Board is as follows:
Remodel the current Fire Administration Building for
office uses and proceed with the installation of the
berm.
- Do not trade the Fire Administration Building for the
Park District 's portion of the West Side Garage.
- Obtain an appraisal of land that would be considered
for a future relocation of the Landmeier Station
and/or training facility.
SCHREINER PROPERTY
The President advised the Board that the Park District is
considering the purchase of land from Schreiner and the
The extension of Home Avenue and recaptures for the lift
station and forcemain were discussed briefly.
The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m.
