SWANCC - Project Use Agreement
Bill Abolt, Executive Director of SWANCC, addressed the
Committee. Abolt noted that because of delays in constructing
the balefill, SWANCC is restructuring its debt. A bond issue
in the amount of $45 million will be issued on May 1, For that
bond issue, SWANCC must have the following executed documents
from the Village by March 11, should the Village choose to
continue in the project:
1 . Project Use Agreement; and
2 . An ordinance designating when the Village will begin
sending refuse to SWANCC.
The Assistant Village Manager noted that Staff is
recommending one change to the proposed service area in that
other governmental agencies would not be included in the
service area. In addition, the Village would begin sending
refuse to SWANCC in November 1994 when the current refuse
contract expires .
The consensus of the Committee was for Staff to prepare the
Project Use Agreement and necessary ordinance, and place those
items on the March 10 Agenda.
BUDGET MEETINGS
The consensus of the Committee was for the Assistant
Village Manager to schedule Committee of the Whole meetings to
discuss the Budget during the first week of March.
The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m.
