Broten - ELK GROVE TIMES GREATER WOODFIELD REQUEST FOR DUES INCREASE President Zettek reported that representatives of the Greater Woodfield Convention & Visitor's Bureau will meet with the Village Board at a future date. CASINO NIGHT - CHILDREN'S HOME & AID SOCIETY President Zettek noted that the Children 's Home & Aid Society of Illinois will hold a Casino Night on February 29 at Cooper Lighting. BUDGET MEETING SCHEDULE The consensus of the Committee was to meet to discuss the Budget as follows: Monday, March 2, at 6:30 p.m. ; Tuesday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m. ; and, if necessary, Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. All meetings will be held in Rooms A, B and C in the Lower Level . r ROTARY CLUB REQUEST FOR FUNDS The consensus of the Committee was to donate $3,000 rather than $5,000, as requested by the Rotary Club. FEE INCREASE PUBLIC HEARING The consensus of the Committee was to hold a public hearing to increase the fees for coin-operated amusement devices on March 24 at 7:45 p.m. SCHMERLER FORD SIGN VARIATION REQUEST The Assistant Village Manager reported that Schmerler Ford is now selling cars at the former Hertz lot and that Schmerler needs a variation to replace the Hertz signage with Schmerler's own signage. There was no objection to bringing this request to the Village Board as a New Business item. SPECIAL LEISURE SERVICES CASINO NIGHT The Village President reported that a Casino Night will be held on March 20 at the Avalon. The Village Attorney noted that the Village will end casino nights by adopting an ordinance, and sending it to the Illinois Department of Revenue which licenses these activities. The village Attorney will review the law to ensure that Elk Grove is notified in advance of these events. EXECUTIVE SESSION Trustee Petri moved and Trustee Bosslet seconded a motion to enter Executive Session to discuss litigation. Upon voting, all AYES.
