LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS REQUEST
President Zettek reported that the League of
Women voters requested a list of names, addresses, and
telephone numbers regarding the President, Board of
Trustees, Village Manager, Plan Commission and Zoning
Board of Appeals. The consensus was to provide a
list, including telephone numbers for the President,
Village Board and Village Manager only.
CHICAGO SKYLINE DISPLAY
The company requested an illuminated wall mounted
sign. The consensus of the Committee was not to
permit the sign to be installed.
RECYCLING BIN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
The consensus was to approve the program as
submitted by Staff, including the sale of recycling
bins for $5. 00.
LANDMEIER ROAD RECONSTRUCTION
The consensus was for Staff to prepare a letter
to the Cook County Highway Department requesting that
trees be planted in the north parkway. The Village
will be serving as the permittee and agrees to
maintain those trees.
LANDMEIER ROAD SIDEWALK - 701 and 721
The Chairman of the Capital Improvements
Committee noted a request from Edital Corporation to
approve a Statement of Commitment to construct a
public sidewalk. There was no objection to the
request . It will be discussed at the forthcoming
Village Board meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
