BISCAYNE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
The consensus of the Committee was for the Village to write
a letter to the impacted residents indicating that the Village
will reinstall fences at the lot line but, because of the new
swale, the fence at the side yard may be up to one foot above
the ground.
MARCH OF DIMES - WALK AMERICA SIGN REQUEST
The consensus of the Committee was to allow the signs to be
posted in parkways but not on trees . The signs must be removed
at the end of the day.
RECYCLED MATERIALS BENCH
The consensus of the Committee was to purchase a plastic
bench made of recycled plastic as proposed by the Board of
Health. The bench will be placed on Village property.
INCOME TAX SURCHARGE REMOVAL
President Zettek reported that Elk Grove Village would lose
$770 , 000 under the Governor' s Budget proposal .
COIN-OPERATED DEVICES - LICENSE FEE
The consensus of the Committee was to increase the fees as
proposed by Staff at the 4-28-92 Village Board meeting. In
addition, Staff is to notify the representative from the public
hearing that the item will be on the Agenda.
PUBLIC PASSENGER VEHICLE ORDINANCE
The consensus of the Committee was to adopt the ordinance
as recommended by the Judiciary, Planning & Zoning Committee at
the 4-28-92 Village Board meeting, effective July 1, 1992 .
The meeting was adjourned at 7 : 50 p.m.
