GROVE MALL REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
The consensus of the Committee was not to have
Staff review and provide comment on the proposed
redevelopment plan. In addition, Staff is to prepare a
letter to the developer advising of the Village
Board's decision and noting that Staff will work with
the developer to promote viable redevelopment of the
site.
COURT REPORTER FOR RESIDENTIAL ZONING VARIATIONS
The consensus of the Committee was to eliminate
the requirement of a court reporter for residential
zoning variations. A resolution doing so will be
placed on the next Agenda.

VIUAGE CLERKS OFFICE
OVERTIME/HOLIDAY PAY POLICIES
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with
the recommendations made by Personnel Officer Dick
Olson in a memo dated June 15, 1992. A resolution
adopting the changes will be placed on the next
Village Board Agenda.
BENSENVILLE SEWER CUSTOMER MASS MAILING
It was the consensus of the Committee to send the
letter as submitted by Staff.
2500-2510 AMERICAN LANE ZONING VARIATION
The consensus of the Committee was to grant a
zoning variation for the parking stalls on the north
side of the property only.
BOLGER TEXT AMENDMENT
The consensus of the Committee was to authorize
the Plan Commission during the Village Board
meeting, to hold a public hearing regarding a text
amendment to allow daycare centers and preschools in
Bl zoning districts.
SOLID WASTE AGENCY TRANSFER STATION
The Village Manager reported the Solid Waste
Agency of Northern Cook County will be holding a
ground-breaking ceremony for the first transfer
station, located in Wheeling, at 10 a.m. on June 24,
1992.
LEGISLATIVE SESSION IN SPRINGFIELD
President Zettek reported that he will be in
Springfield June 29 and 30 for the Suburban O'Hare
Commission, pertaining to the Lake Calumet Airport
site and additional runways at O'Hare.
NEW BUSINESS ITEMS
The Village Manager reported the following New
Business items for which there was no objection from
the Committee. Those items will be discussed as New
Business at the forthcoming Village Board meeting.
1) Village Board authorization is needed for an
emergency contract to complete the removal of
broken tree branches caused by the storm on
June 17.
2) Village Board authorization to hold a public
hearing at 7:45 p.m. on July 14 to amend the site
plan and annexation agreement for Parcel #2 of
the LaQuinta property.
3) Village Board authorization to hold a public
hearing on the Kantzavelos annexation agreement.
The property to be annexed is located at 2731 E.
Old Higgins Road. The hearing will be scheduled
for 7:45 p.m. on July 28.
Trustee Czarnik moved, and Trustee Tosto seconded
a motion, to enter Executive Session to discuss
Personnel, Litigation, and Land Acquisition.
Upon voting, all AYES. The meeting entered
Executive Session at 7:40 p.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
