BURIAL OF OVERHEAD ELECTRICAL LINES - BIESTERFIELD ROAD
The consensus of the Committee was to have the Village pay
1008 of the Villages share ($245,000) of the cost to bury
electrical lines from Beisner Road to the Biesterfield Fire
Station (Phase One) of the Biesterfield Road project. Staff
will work with Commonwealth Edison to prepare the necessary
agreements. Cost estimates for Phase Two of the project to
Arlington Heights Road have not been made available by
Commonwealth Edison and will be discussed at a later date.
PARK DISTRICT - Drainage Improvements at Udall Park
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
- To lease the Park District land at the Rohlwing Road
site and Well Site #1 for soccer fields due to
the flood mitigation project at Udall Park. The leases
will give the Village the right to terminate the
lease with twelve (12) month notice to the Park
District .
No permanent structures are to be erected on
the properties, and the Park District must provide
screening for the home adjacent to the driveway at the
well site.
- To restore by sodding Udall Park and Johnson Park for
immediate use by the Park District.
PAIRMONT ESTATES PLAT OF SUBDIVISION
The Chairman of the JPZ Committee reported that the JPZ
Committee expressed concerns regarding: 1) Access onto West
Glenn for lot 18; 2) adjoining Right-of-Way at the Christa
cul-de-sac terminus with Biesterfield Road; and 3) the
ownership and maintenance responsibility of the proposed
evergreen trees planted in the parkway at the Christa
cul-de-sac terminus.
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss this item
following the Village Board meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
