Knickerbocker, Village Attorney (7:30 p.m. ) Reporters: Kelly Womer, ELK GROVE DAILY HERALD 15 MINUTE PARKING SIGNS The consensus of the Committee was to have the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. printed on the four (4) fifteen minute parking signs posted in the Municipal parking lot. RESIDENTIAL TREE PLANTING PROGRAM The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the recommendations made by the Administrative Assistant in her memo dated September 4 . The program is to be advertised in the Village Leaf Collection Brochure with proper disclaimers noting that the Village does not guarantee the quality of the trees. LEAF COLLECTION BROCHURE The consensus of the Committee was to approve the proposed Leaf Collection Brochure. , ECEIVE1) SEP 1 1 1992 41UAGE clWS Off" STATE MANDATES ADVISORY REFERENDUM The consensus of the Committee was to publish a neutral article in the October Newsletter explaining the Advisory Referendum prohibiting State Mandates. KANTZAVELOS ANNEXATION The Village Manager informed the Committee that the petitioner for the Kantzavelos property located at 2731 Old Higgins Road has withdrawn his petition for annexation. The petitioner will be supplying the Village with information on the purchaser of the property. VILLAGE ON THE LAKE CONDOMINIUM #5 PASSENGER ELEVATORS The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the recommendations made by the Director of Engineering & Community Development in his memo dated 9/4/92, and establish the Village Board as the Building Board of Appeals at the subsequent Village Board meeting. CHRISTUS VICTOR LUTHERAN CHURCH P.A.D.S. PROGRAM There was no objection to the Church 's operating the P.A.D.S. Shelter under its current Special Use permit. STREET RESURFACING CONTRACT The Village Manager reported that R.W. Dunteman temporarily delayed resurfacing work. The remaining work is schedule to be completed by the contract due date of September 30. Staff is currently working on provisions for next year's contract to prevent similar delays. AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT - HEALTH CARE ISSUES The consensus of the Committee was to place this matter with the Personnel Committee. CAPITAL PROJECTS LIST - CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND The consensus of the Committee was to eliminate curb and gutter improvements along the Elk Grove Boulevard median from Arlington Heights Road to Rev. Morrison Drive. EXECUTIVE SESSION Trustee Bosslet moved and Trustee Czarnik seconded a motion to enter Executive Session to discuss personnel, litigation, and land acquisition. Upon voting, all AYES. The meeting entered Executive Session at 7:40 p.m. The meeting reconvened as a Committee of the Whole at 7:55 p.m. HALL OF FAME POOL HALL The Village Attorney reported that discussions are continuing with the Pool Hall owners.
