Russis, CHICAGO TRIBUNE B. O'Brien, EG DAILY HERALD RIDGE AVENUE LIFT STATION The estimated cost of converting the lift station to a gravity sewer is $7,500,000. The consensus of the Committee was to keep this item in the Capital Improvements Committee. DIAL-A-RIDE PASSES The consensus of the Committee was to proceed with the purchase of Dial-A-Ride passes through Salvation Army funds as proposed by the Community Service Coordinator. THE HYPE" TEEN DANCE CLUB The consensus of the Committee was to have Staff perform the following: 1 . Speak with the petitioner regarding curfew hours of operation; and admission charge. 2. Survey Elk Grove and Conant High Schools to obtain their input on a dance club located in the Village. . . .please continue 3. Contact Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates to ascertain if a similar club exists and the provisions of its operation. VILLAGE ON THE LAKE CONDOMINIUM #5 PASSENGER ELEVATORS The consensus of the Committee was to convene as the Building Board of Appeals on 9122192 at 7 p.m. to hear the appeal from Village-on-the-Lake Condominium #5 regarding its passenger elevators. RESIDENTIAL TREE PLANTING PROGRAM INSERT The consensus of the Committee was to approve the Residential Tree Planting Program insert with the last paragraph in bold type. The insert will be mailed to residents before the end of September. AMENDMENT TO SCHREINER ANNEXATION AGREEMENT The Assistant Village Manager reported that a public hearing will be held on October I3 at 7:45 p.m. for the amendment to the Schreiner Annexation Agreement. SPECIAL LEISURE SERVICES FOUNDATION CASINO NIGHT The consensus of the Committee was as follows: - Approve the request for a waiver to Section 6-8-2F of the Municipal Code allowing the organization to hold a Casino Night on October 9, 1992, at Avalon Banquets. That request will be placed on the September 22 Consent Agenda; Advise the petitioner that the Village wants at least three (3) months ' notification before entertaining his request for a Casino Night. REV. MORRISON/ELK GROVE BOULEVARD DRAINAGE DITCH ENCLOSURE The consensus of the Committee was as follows: To proceed with the project as presented by the Director of Engineering and Community Development; To keep the compensatory storage rate at a ratio 1 to 1 .5; and . . . please continue To revise the landscape design to include salt-resistant vegetation and place trees at staggered intervals of 25 feet (50 feet each side of street) . The Director of Engineering & Community Development is to obtain cost estimates for the revised landscape design. EXECUTIVE SESSION Trustee Tosto moved and Trustee Bosslet seconded a motion to enter Executive Session to discuss litigation. Upon voting, all AYES.
