PARKWAY TREE REMOVAL - 506 OAKTON
Consensus of the Committee was to approve the
homeowner' s request to remove the parkway tree at his
expense. The Village will replace the tree at the
Village ' s expense.
BIESTERFIELD ROAD SPEED SURVEY
Consensus of the Committee was to leave unchanged
the speed limit of 25 MPH on Biesterfield, west of
Rohlwing Road.
AUTOMATED TELEPHONE ATTENDANT
Consensus of the Committee was to concur with
Staff recommendation (Option #2 ) to purchase an
automated telephone attendant with the option to
upgrade the system to voice mail at a later date, at
an estimated cost of $15, 000 to $20, 000 .
MODEL TRAFFIC MITIGATION ORDINANCE
Consensus of the Committee was to concur with
Staff recommendation and not adopt a traffic
mitigation ordinance.
BURIAL OF COMMONWEALTH EDISON LINES
Consensus of the Committee was to bury the
overhead electrical lines at a total estimated expense
of $315, 000 .
"The Hype" - TEEN DANCE CLUB
The consensus of the Committee was to have Staff
prepare a letter to the owners of "The Hype" denying
their request to operate a dance club at the proposed
location, due to its proximity to establishments
serving alcohol .
The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 p.m.
