MEETING CANCELLATION
The consensus of the Committee was to cancel the December 22,
Village Board meeting.
HALLOWEEN SOLICITORS
The consensus of the Committee was to establish the hours of
1 p.m. to 7 p.m. for trick or treating on weekdays and weekends.
This item will be on the next agenda.
GENERAL FUND REVENUES
The Village Manager reported the status of General Fund
revenues. It is expected that the fund balance will carry over
until the year 2000.
TAX LEVY DETERMINATION - 1992
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss the tax levy at
the 11/17/92 meeting.
ITG AGREEMENT
The Village Manager reported that staff, the Village
Attorney, and Trustee Gallitano are currently reviewing contract
language for data processing services.
WATER TESTING - MASS MAILING
The consensus of the Committee was to approve a mass mailing
to sixty (60) residents who participated in the water testing for
lead and copper.
SIDEWALK PLACEMENT - LANDMEIER ROAD WIDENING
The Director of Engineering and Community Development
reported the status of sidewalk and parkway tree replacement
along Landmeier Road. Boffice reported that various sections
along Landmeier Road will not have sidewalks replaced due to
right-of-way constraints. Sidewalks will be replaced by the
County where sufficient right-of-way exists at the Village 's
expense. Boffice noted the areas along Landmeier where sidewalk
is expected to be replaced or not replaced.
The County reported that they will not permit trees in the
new Landmeier parkway as the parkway width is less than 10 feet.
The consensus of the Committee was for staff to measure the
width of the parkway on Meacham between Nerge and Biesterfield
Roads where parkway trees are planted, and report that
information to the Village Board.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Chernick moved and Trustee Czarnik seconded the
motion to enter into Executive Session to discuss land
acquisition and personnel, upon voting all Ayes.
The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
