Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly sc.^eduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees
on 3-27-91 this Executive Session was called to consider a
personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Board discussed recommendations made by the Village
Manager for wage and salary adjustments.
The consensus of the Board was as follows:
Eliminate the Entrance Rate and Midpoint position of the
Merit Pay ranges;
Prohibit increases that exceed the Maximum pay rate;
Do not establish Minimum starting rates for Merit
positions at the 75th percentile;
Establish a 5% gap only between subordinate and first
line supervisor salaries;
Bring merit pay employees up to the new minimum of their
pay range;
Do not establish a longevity pay plan;
Increase the Paramedic speciality pay from $1,545 to
$2,000;
� - Maintain the present overtime policies with respect to
paid time off.
In addition, it was the consensus of the Committee to meet
again on Thursday, April ll, 1991 at 7 p.m. to further discuss
wages and salaries.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:10 p.m.
