Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 11/17/98 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village President stated that the Village Attorney was seeking to
have the residency requirement of his contract removed due to personal
conflicts which made it difficult for him to move into the Village prior to
December 31, 1998. Upon discussion, the consensus of the Village Board _
was as follows:
• to amend the Village Attorney's employment agreement to require
residency within the Village by October 31, 2000; and
• to have the issue of Department Head residency placed in the
Personnel Committee for discussion.
The meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
