Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 11/17/98 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager reviewed his memo regarding an anonymous
internal complaint about the Police Department. The Village Manager
stated that an anonymous letter accused the Village of discriminating
against and targeting minorities within their Village. A review of Police
Department practices determined that their operations were acceptable and
not biased in any manner. In addition, the anonymous accusations were
determined to be non-factual or were previously addressed.
Upon further discussion, the consensus of the Village Board was to
take no action in response to the letter.
The meeting adjourned at 6:19 p.m.
