Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 10/13/98 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter.

Litieation
The Village Attorney informed the Village Board that the Village had
successfully defended itself against Busse News and Video in both State
and Federal Court. In addition, the Attorney stated that the Village
currently had approximately 90 outstanding citations against Busse News
related to illegal operation of their facility, which would be heard in Cook
County Court.
The Village Board discussed the Village's current zoning ordinance
as it pertained to permitted locations for adult book stores. Upon furthQr
discussion, the consensus of the Village Board was to direct the Village
Attorney to prepare a draft ordinance which would geographically limit the
permitted locations for sale of adult books to be reviewed by the JPZ
Committee.
