Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 07/14/98 this Executive
Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village President reviewed minutes from Traffic Advisory
Council (TAC) meetings in April, May and June, including attendance
figures and recommendations for Village Board action. It was the consensus
opinion of the Village Board that the issues being discussed by the TAC
were ones which were effectively addressed by the JPZ Committee and
Capital Improvements Committee, the ICRC and/or Village staff. As such,
there was no longer a need for the TAC to function in Elk Grove.
Upon further discussion, the consensus of the Village Board was to
formally disband the TAC. The Village President will discuss the issue with
Chairperson Meyers prior to notifying the remainder of the TAC.
The Executive Session adjourned at 6:44 p.m.
