Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on June4, 1998 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel -
The Village Manager informed the Village Board that the Fire Chief
had recommended Lt. Doug Goostree to fill the vacancy created by the
retirement of Captain Hermann. Subject to interviewing Lt. Goostree on
June 10, 1998, the Village Manager stated that he would promote Lt.
Goostree to the position of Captain.
The Village Manager stated that he would advise the Village Board
when the appointment was made.
The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
