Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 26. 1998 this
Executive Session was called to consider a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
School Resource Officer
The Village Manager reported that School District 59 is examining
the School Resource Officer from an entirely different concept than School
District 54. The Village Manager recommended that, because the two
school districts' philosophy was so different, the Village Board consider the
District 54 offer by itself.
The consensus of the Village Board was to invite School District 54
to make a presentation concerning the need for a School Resource Officer at
Mead School, and to treat the issue separately from School District 59.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
