Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 27, 1998 this
Executive Session was called to consider a P rsorm U i ' ation matter.

PERSONNELILITIGATION
The Village Attorney brought the Village Board up-to-date on the
status of pending litigation between Bob Arnold and the Village. The
Village Attorney stated that Arnold had undergone physical
examinations by a doctor and rehabilitation clinic. Preliminary results
of the examination indicate that Arnold may be declared eligible for
light-duty status.
The Village Attorney stated that he was working to resolve the
issue outside of court and had asked Arnold to submit a lump sum
settlement offer for consideration by the Village. Additional
information will be provided to the Village Board as it becomes
available.
