Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 13, 1998 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acoui its ion matter.

1 AND ACQUISITION
The Village President informed the Village Board that the Chicago Bears were
looking at property in Northwest Point for the construction of a new stadium along
the Northwest Tol/way. The Village President stated that the Bears were in the
process of determining the feasibility of building a stadium in Elk Grove, including
traffic and parking studies. The Bears also expressed a concern that they not be
disclosed as the buyer, due to concerns that land prices for the property will
escalate. In addition, the Village President stated that there was a possibility that
the Bears may ask the Village to be owners of the property.
The Village President stated that he will keep the Village Board informed of further
discussions with the Bears as they occur.
The meeting adjourned at 7:10 pm.
