Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on date 12-9-97
this Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager informed the Village Board that it was his intention,
following an extensive interview process, to appoint Michael Cavallini, to the position of
Health Services Coordinator upon the retirement of Nancy Yiannis. Cavallini has been
employed by the Village for over 20 years and is currently in the position of Village
Sanitarian. Cavallini's appointment will be effective 2-1-98. In addition, Cavallini will
have eighteen months from his appointment to move into the Village in accordance with
the Department head Residency Requirement.
