Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on September 2 3. 1997
this Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager informed the Village Board that the Fire
Union Arbitration ruling had been submitted and reviewed, and is
ready for acceptance by the Village Board. Upon discussion, the
consensus of the Committee was to adopt a Resolution accepting the
arbitrator's ruling at the 9/23/97 Village Board meeting.
In addition, Ted Clark is completing the formal contract language.
Upon execution, retroactivity will occur. While the contract has not
been finalized, Finance is beginning retroactive calculations.
