Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on lanuary 14. 1997
this Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter.

LITIGATION: Video Update Signage
The Village Attorney advised that housing court enforcement litigation is
pending against Video Update for occupying their premises without an occupancy
permit. The temporary permit, previously issued, expired on November 25, 1996.
A condition of the temporary occupancy permit required Video Update to cover the
exposed neon tubing, which condition was agreed upon in writing, by Video
Update.
Video Update is facing penalties of up to $500.00 per day for remaining
open without an occupancy permit.
The consensus was for the Village Attorney to continue enforcement
litigation against Video Update until the neon is covered.
The meeting adjourned at 9:50 p.m.
