The Village Manager noted that 2 professors have expressed an interest in serving on the initial interviewing panel. Their Ciricula Vitas will be distributed to the Village Board. After further discussion, the consensus of the Village Board was to: • Prepare an interviewing panel comprised of Trustee Petri, Trustee Czamik, Village Manager, and the 2 consultants; • Allow the interviewing panel to cull the list of candidates down to the level they believe to be the most qualified for the position, which will likely be in the 3 to 5 person range; • The interviewing panel will not rank order the candidates; • The Village Board will interview the recommended candidates for selection of a Chief.
