Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on Jul v 27. 1999 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
President Johnson discussed the approximately five acres of property owned
by the Village near Dierking Terrace. This property was initially purchased
for future Village use, but as the Village has no foreseen need for the
property, its sale should be explored again. The Village explored its sale,
but removed the property from the market during discussions with the
Chicago Bears. President Johnson noted that the current real estate market
should command a good price for the property and the Village should
conduct the sale itself.
The consensus of the Village Board was to authorize staff to place a sign on
the property indicating its for sale and to ascertain interest in its sale.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:41 p.m.
