Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 08/24/99 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Board discussed the issue of acquiring a fourth ambulance. President Johnson
explained it would be a$600,000 or$700,000 expense. The Village Manager and Fire
Chief conduct annual reviews of ambulance calls and response times, and at the last
review a fourth ambulance was not unwarranted. The consensus of the Board was for
staff to re-distribute the last report on this issue, a report on mutual aid calls, and a future
presentation on the issue from the Fire Chief.
