Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 12/14/99 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel: Community Health Nurse
The Village Manager reported that the top candidate for the Nurse position would not
accept the position for less than the top of the salary range. This salary is higher than a
Community Nurse or Nurse Supervisor in surrounding communities.
The Health Services Coordinator is considering a part-time nurse,job share with 2 part-
time nurses, and/or combination part-time nurse with outsourced functions.
Current responsibilities of the nurse are being handled through outsourcing. The Village
Manager noted that Senior Citizen blood pressure checks can be accomplished by
paramedics until a nurse comes on duty.
