Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 10, 2000.
this Executive Session was called to consider a personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager discussed his recommendations for departmental personnel
requests in the FY 99-2000 Budget. The consensus of the committee was as follows:
• Create a full-time maintenance worker position;
• Create a part-time Porter position;
• Increase part-time Health Services Clerk hours from 4 hours to 5 hours/day.
• Increase part-time Finance Department Clerk/Receptionist hours from 6 hours to 8
hours job share (with a reduction in use of outside temporary help).
• Do not create a Fire Department Captain;
• Do not create another Fire Inspector position;
• Provide current and proposed job descriptions and salary ranges for the Building
Maintenance Foreman; and
• Meet on February 8, 2000, at 6 p.m., to discuss the Police Department's position
request along with an update of the Chief of Police's activities over the past six
months.
