Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 06/13/2000 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter.

LITIGATION
President Johnson explained Cook County's failure to assign TIF designation to
the Grove Mall property in time to collect the full increment from the 1999 tax bill. As a
result,taxes were paid to all other taxing bodies totaling approximately$450,000. After
discussing various options, the consensus of the Board was to not litigate the issue with
the County, but to accept the extension of TIF designation for a year longer than
originally planned.
The meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
