PROCHNO Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 12/4/00 this Executive Session was called to consider a Land Disposition matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: June 2001 Date of approval for release: 12/4/00 6:30 p.m. LAND DISPOSITION The Village Attorney updated the Board on the sale of the Dierking Terrace property. Centerpoint Properties has revised their offer to pay$1.265 million for the property,with $265,000 earnest money, which will cover the Village's entire cost of roadway improvements. They are willing to close no later than 4.5 months after the completion of the roadway. In addition, the 300 sq. ft. parcel containing the JAWA connection will remain Village property(it is currently an easement)with no reduction of the sales price. The Village Attorney noted the road could be completed by June 1, 2001, and the closing would occur no later than November, 2001. The Village Attorney reported that another offer for the property was recently submitted, which closely matched the terms of the existing offer. After some discussion on the offer, the consensus of the Village Board was to direct the Village Attorney to have the sales contract with Centerpoint Properties ready for acceptance by the Village Board. The meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
