Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees
on May 9, 1989 , this Executive Session was called to consider a
Personnel matter.

Police Department
The Village Board members were advised by the Village Manager
that an internal investigation,began April 7, 1989 on the disappearance
of approximately $5,000 which had been removed from the lower level
Police evidence room following the August 1987 flood,to determine
whether a theft occurred or if it was accidentally disposed of along
with other flood debris.
Consensus that Manager and Chief should do what is right,
including outside assistance in the investigation to clarify what
occurred.
