Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on 1126193, this Executive Session was called to consider
a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Attorney informed the Board of two individuals
that were removed from the Fire and Police Commission eligibility
list -- one from the firefighter list; the other from_the police
officer list. These individuals failed their medical exams due
to hearing disabilities.
These individuals have filed a petition regarding their
ineligible hiring status with the Illinois Department of Human
Rights.
The Consensus of the Board was as follows:
1) Have the Village Attorney work with Seyfarth and Shaw
(labor counsel) to reach a settlement with the Illinois
Department of Human Rights on the police officer case;
and,
2) The Village Attorney is to keep the Village Board
up-to-date on both items.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
