Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on
April 13, 1993,this Executive Session was called to consider a personnel
matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager reported that the local President of the
IAFF filed for mediation assistance with a federal mediator. In
response, the Village filed for mediation assistance as well, to
avoid having to pay for the services of the mediator.
The Village sent a letter to the Federal Mediation Board,
along with our request for assistance, stating that negotiations
are not at an impasse and wages and salaries have not been
submitted by the Union as of this time.
